I am a senior at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with majors in Communication, Spanish and Humanities with a concentration in International Studies. 

Through UTC, I have been a part of Rising Rock Media, The University Echo and Mocs News. Here, I have learned to become a multimedia journalist with skills in filmmaking, post-production, copy editing and — most importantly — storytelling. Additionally, I am an intern for the Office of New Americans in the City of Chattanooga helping new immigrants and refugees gather resources to succeed in the city. 

As graduation approaches, I am hoping to find a career that allows me to use journalism and Spanish to not only extend information to a broader community but also expand my own abilities of interpretation, translation and communication.
